LIC CO Circular is vague & disappointing .The crux of the issue was that Elders,Pensioners 60 & above, & prone & warned NOT to stir out , to avoid Covid19 infection needs absolutely an easy to operate method from the comfort of his living room to get Life Certificate after 1st August .But this Circular gives more importance to attesting methodology or procedure & roundabout wait for Videocall ,thus terribly increasing work of call, response , authentication as Pensioner only & then Pension Cell records the video call etc
I even mentioned an example where the Instn Form of a separately worded declaration confirming without doubt the authenticity of that person taking oath was approved & needful

Internal procedure to be done hereafter is different
The bone of contention & simplification for Pensioner & LIC Empathy to Pensioners are all missing & so Really ceases to be a solution Many may try to go out to get Atteststion violating canons of extended Lockdown & can fall a prey which situation is avoidable if a more pragmatic solution was evolved
Still time to work out & make happy announcement which will be greeted by every Pensioner
