1)Glad to hear you are perfectly ok ,relieved from the clutches of covid19,having come to normal negative.All of us were worried.Yet ,in view of infection prospects, every individual has to be eternally vigilant
2)It is in this context we were worried & went on pursuing the matter with your goodself as you showed keen interest & empathetic to dire needs of Elders & Sr Citizens .You also promised that you were confident to find a solution which will gladden the hearts of all Pensioners, near 60,000 in all ,who will be able to complete the Life Certificate Proforma with ease in the comfort of their own homes without the need to stir out in search of Certifying Authority to certify Pensioner is alive.Same August Yly Form of LIC was sent to be completed & sent to respective PCELL .
3)You will agree this contains the seed of uncertainty of unobtrusively getting caught in the mire of infection.Memories of our dear friends in LIC & other pensioners too succumbing to deadly Covid 19 infection ,with all safeguards & precaution taken too, haunts us as permanent damage to that family has taken place & there cannot be any reversal to happiness
4)You will agree that large numbers of Family Pensioners may not know even LIC authority, they are not even fully aware of rules & regulations for pension disbursement & other basic & fundamental duties & responsibilities.Further, FP ratio to Regular pensioners have shot up in the last few years from 18% to 40 % & some Zones even to 50 % & more.Do you not feel that all is not well as far as care & concern for attending to special needs & requirements of FP & a time has come to ensure a separate Cell functions to cater to their special needs & need to enable even completion of Forms easier with facilitation by OS PC .
5)I plead with you to IMMEDIATELY implement this WhatsApp completion of basic data by Pensioners & on to their friends /officers near & dear & helpful to download that format & as a certifying Authority certify LC of the pensioner.Large volume of pensioners will derive the benefit gladly & be grateful to you
6)Needless to say an institution of the eminence of LIC with such a Leap forward in Digital Revolution must have already come forward with such a salubrious method of satisfying genuinely by WORKABLE method by ALL pensioners WITHOUT HICCUPS.
In fact ,after the CO Circular on Jeevan Pramaan ,that energetic steps should have been taken in conjunction with ITSD,CO ,& long back this thorny sensitive issue must have been resolved, is a big lacuna adversely affecting pensioners .,Guest House Reservation is now not allowed for pensioners as an all embracing Rule when Covid precautions are taken.Here near 60,000 pensioners take risk looks a sad contradiction
