Memorandum to Sri. Rajkiran Rai, Chairman, IBA.

We have recd the following *msz of today's 2nd Delegation met Sri Rajkiran Rai, Chairman, IBA at Bangalore* for your information please.

"As advised by you, we have today met and handed over a memorandum to Sri. Rajkiran Rai, Chairman, IBA.

We made a specific request to expedite updation of pension to Bank retirees.

*In response,  Mr. Rai  told that IBA is very serious about the pension updation. He told that the FM has already declared her intention in the matter and following this IBA is working out the details. He recalled the long and turbulent course through which the OROP has travelled and also the development in RBI. Fully knowing  the cost aspect, IBA is moving in the matter. He assured that IBA is fully aware of the aspirations of Bank Retirees and that the IBA will do everything required to be done in this direction.*

He was very cordial to our delegation and it was with a very positive note.

*On behalf of AIBRF, K. Vishwanatha Naik, Dy. Gen. Secretary, B. Venkata Rao, Organising Secretary and U. Abdul Jaleel, Organising Secretary* submitted the memorandum and requested to expedite the process of Pension updation.
