*NOIP's ACHIEVEMENT AGAIN.*

Sri P B Annigeri, S R No:559227, an Ex-Air Veteran,  retired from LIC as HGA on 31-5-2014. He was a PF optee. *But when OMOP came due to the efforts of NOIP & BMS in 2019*, he opted for Pension.

While fixing his Pension Office did not take into account the Training period of 3 months.

On detecting this mistake, NOIP advised him to send 2 representations to SDM, Belagavi : 1. For refixation of Pension taking Training period also for counting the service and 2. For payment of Difference in Gratuity.

He sent the letters on 06-09-2021 to SDM, Belagavi to reopen Pension fixation and Gratuity payment. The Divisional Office forwarded the Applications to ZO for their guidance.

On 8-10-2021 a delegation of NOIP, Belagavi Division headed by the undersigned  met SDM and among other things they also brought this issue to his notice.

Despite vigorous follow up, nothing happened. No reply received from SCZO.

The matter was discussed with M(OS) several times. M(OS) followed up with ZO over phone, by writing letters, sending the data again and again.

Finally the undersigned had to speak to the Asst Sec OS, SCZO about the issue on 9th May, 2022. *The same day SCZO approved the payments.*

May 2022 Pension was paid to the aggrieved Pensioner after refixation of the same. However, the Arrears from 4/2019 to 4/2022; the Difference in Gratuity and the Difference in CV amounting to Rs.1,01,919/- was paid to him on 09-06-2022.

*Although there was delay of 9 months, continuous followup from NOIP, Div Office and personal interest taken by SDM has brought positive result.*
