Meeting with CEO & MD at Indore on 31.08.2025

Today, our CEO cum MD Mr R. Doraiswamy was in Indore  to address CZO HOD's meeting.
Through Sr DM Indore Mr Prabhat Sahu, Shri Toke requested for some time to felicitate him on his maiden visit to Indore and he was kind enough to agree and informed us to be at Hotel where he would introduce us after the meeting. The meeting prolonged and it was time for his flight and we could meet him at the hotel lobby.
I felicitated and greeted him well with a floral bouquet on behalf of all members of All India Retired Emloyees' Federation and thanked him for the relief extended to pensioners in mediclaim premium thus increasing the pension.
Believe me, he on his own said "there are other issues too I know pending at CO and let me see what can be done".                      These words of his surely can be seen as a glimmer of hope by us all. A positive and empathetic approach towards us. A down to earth person suggestive of possessing a humane heart. -Ranjan DeySarkar                 General Secrerary,

1st September 1956: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) established.

Formed by merger of 245 private insurers through the LIC Act, 1956.

Govt. invested ₹5 crore as initial capital.

🔹 1960s – Expansion & Social Mission

Rapid spread of branches across India.

Brought insurance to villages & small towns.

Popularised the idea of insurance as social security, not luxury.

🔹 1970s – Monopoly Strengthens

More money in the hands of people

More money in the hands of people

Dr MMS appointed PM threatened to resign , if Lok Sabha refuses to confirm his agreement with GW bush risking loosing his position due to No Confidence Motion by Leftists.  Compare this with Modi's tough with Trump.  https://www.bbc.com/ news/ articles/ c5ykznn158qo ( + ARTICLES) This makes India -  one of the US' s strongest partners in the Indo- Pacific -  among the countries paying the highest tariffs in the world.  Amid the blow,  Modi' s message to his countrymen has been loud and clear - both make in India and spend in India.

But spurring long-pending tax reforms that immediately put more money into the hands of people could help the government soften some of the blow, experts say.

And so, after a $12bn income tax giveaway announced in the budget earlier this year, Modi is now aiming for an overhaul of India's indirect tax architecture – a reduction and simplification of the goods & service tax (GST). (So LIC Retirees can expect more money by means of arrears of Pension Upgradation not from SC bur from In-Service agitating with placards stating GOI reimburse pension fund from its Windfall profit of lakhs and lakhs crores from LIC before LIC Board meetings in passive manner like RBI In-Service staff.)

Ganesh Utsav

If the entire Country  is coming together to celebrate Ganesh Utsav we have to thank Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak  for the initiative of Sarvajanik Ganeshutsav

Bal Gangadhar Tilak turned Ganesh Chaturthi into a public festival in Pune in 1893 uniting Indians against Colonial Rule

Ganesh Chaturthi wasn’t always the big 10-day public celebration we see today. In 1893, Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak turned the private Ganesh puja into a grand community festival; a smart way to unite people, spread nationalist ideas, and spark pride against British rule

A Tradition that thrives worldwide forever
