Yesterday the chairman personally spoke to me about the strike notice given by us-on 12th September. He has informed the following ;
The revision in family pension notification is expected in next week.
Enhancement of nps contribution is accepted by the government in principle.
Wage revision process is on and the talks will commence soon
In this context he requested for calling off the proposed strike and focus on business activities
This was followed by an official appeal from EDP .
Considering the situation the joint front has decided to differ the strike. A joint communique will be released today.
We assure you that the Federation will do its best to safeguard the interests of the officers community.
