Pension Credit on 1st October 2023 took place in respect of PENSIONERS REGULAR & FAMILY PENSIONERS for ZO SZ & DO 1 PENSIONERS.
1st time.for DO2 Pensioners, it was delayed though Pension PaYSlip was,the earliest & today very early morning onwards DO 2 Pensioners started inserting methodically in WhatsApp.
I personally spoke to 15 Family Pensioners, elicited useful info of Full particulars of Basic Family Pension,DR Total Old & Existing & New Enhanced Basic FP, appropriate DR & increase in FP.
I also requested our Dynamic Team.of OBs to form Teams to help the weakest link in the chain FPensioners in securing the Details, requested them to preserve Records carefully & ALSO to elicit if they have Mediclaim Cover & keep our entries with neat control.
As different Groups 1 to Group 7 will present VARIED picture of Particulars, a fairly detailed email I sent for easy reference.
Be that as it may, as this is a fairly complicated matter, in advance I spoke to EVERY OFFICER right from RMOS, SECRETARY OS.

MGROS/PC/DM of largest Number of Pensioners DO1with 1240 pensioners & DO2 MgrOSPC/DM too.
Earlier I spoke to SDMDO1 & SDM DO2.Everything takes time & sweat & labour at this age but unalloyed happiness when faithfully done & suitable Reminders made for communication continuum.
I must thank worthy ZM who while inviting EDs Retd on 7th September 2023 for LIC Insurance Week celebrations. He asked RMs to be present & in particular OS/PC to be present enabling me to participate & pinpoint Elements of Control & fup & impending task of Regularising CORRECT FULL MONTH FP & error in free DR ,indicating Pensioner Groups they belong.This coalescing has given mutual respect & convergence.
Incidentally ZM was Chief Guest for our RIEA CHENNAI SILVER JUBILE CELEBRATIONS CONFERENCE, when sudden impromptu Press Meet, our Organisers requested me to speak for few minutes.This was circulated in WhatsApp & few Members.
It is affirmed how we Leaders have to be Futuristic & in anticipation, as I moved a lot with many Emails, talk with Top Mgt MDs, came LIC BOARD Resolution No 500 approving FP at 30% of Last drawn BASIC Pay ,WITHOUT CEILING, (this proviso is NOT there for RBI itself)!
So INSIGHT, FORESIGHT, HINDSIGHT , with great difficulty I secured mammoth FP data of SZ FPensioners with all particulars, especially MNo & Email id, Name of Nominee too. Believe me 3065 then 6/2020 , spoke to Mr RKSahni, the Excel wizard & any & every Policy matter getting translated with pucca Tabulations.Long way for AIRIEF to have Specific Team who must by now or Sooner become Statistical Wizards & provide Core Menu for Analysts. Mere NAMES without concrete Outputs is of no use. RTI Experts to be Specialists etc.
So we 2 ensured as at 1/8/2021 Enhanced Family Pension Groupwise & 10 Cadrewise from Asst to ED & Difference Indicated.
Sweating it was, but we continued Sweating updating as at 1/8/2023, now Chennai in all 3 may be app 81 even at this age with Many other work & releases going on with ever so many Emails on number of Festivals,other😊😊😊 Greetings & hardest work of Best from MY ARCHIVES as a Tribute to AIRIEF SJ PLUS JOURNEY 25 to 30 years Releases & so too for RIEA Chennai SJ Cekebrations,
residual pending & 8/2023 to 8/2024 Year long celebrations & MY ARCHIVES Releases.
As for PENSION CREDIT SO TOO FOR ALL Functions of AIRIEF, 27 OBs, RIEAs, Whatsap. ZONAL Groups , other than NCZ, Nothing is created.
