The pre-November 2002 retirees of PS Banks are similar to LIC pre-August 1997 retirees. But in case of LIC pensioners, the DHC has granted partial relief  by its judgment dt 27/4/2017 by improving the DR formula for pre-August 1997 retirees .If the  100% DR neutralisation benefits granted to PSB pre-Nov 2002 retirees are extended by GOI/LIC to our LIC pre-August 1997 , the latter will get still higher DR although with prospective effect.This will be independent of our case in SC where the SLPs are for upgradation of pension for all generations of retirees. The Pensioners' Associations need to take up the issue.
