With the omission of Appendix V from LIC Pension Rules 1995 w e f 11/9/2023 in the Gazette Notification on enhancement of the rate of family pension to 30% of last pay , there is a vacuum in the matter of minimum family pension till such time as Board approved rates of minimum pension are included in the Pension Rules by an amendment.
So , we from the Hyderabad Association of retired Class I Officers has addressed a letter on 12/10/2023.We have now addrssed another letter by way of reminder to LIC Chairperson as per copy attached.
Let us hope LIC takes early steps in the matter.
