Mr S R Srinivasan's Post

Referring to the above post, the MC Jain case judgment Jaipur Bench and the Kerala HC judgment only cover retirees 1 /8/1992 and 31/3/1993.If the officers who retired after 31/3/1993 want to claim any benefit based on the judgments,  they have to file a separate Writ Petition. In fact all the officers who were Class I Officers as on 1/8/1992  and retired subsequently can claim arrears of difference in  salary from 1/8/1992 to 31/3/1993 based on revised scales. But all such eligible officers will have to file a separate Writ Petition in the HC citing the Jaipur Bench judgment.Only on getting a favourable order from the court, it is possible to get any benefit.
