Meandering course,22500 pensioners dead &dying, SC as APEX Court must UPHOLD FULLEST JUSTICE to BELEAGURED Pensioners languishing in OLD Basic Pension,Violation of Fundamental Rights of Equity,Equality

 

        Yes,looks to be a Turn of the Tide,after many many adjournments,ony an AN Session could somewhat  delight the audience,even if it was for 20/25 mts,of the KERNEL TRUTH being echoed by our Sr Advocate Sri Nidhish Gupta.As Mr CHMahadevan says SLPs are admitted,to be converted to CAs  & next hearing, as HonJudges seemed to remark --there are Anamolies,we appreciate  etc.They perhaps desire to complete before Summer vacation .

      Meandering 23 years of agony for Pensioners,unfathomable series of Adjourments,dampened the spirits of Elders & Seniors,22,500 deaths, agony it is to hear tragic loss,LFDonations, LIC & MOF really owe an apology,even after Hon FM, late 2020  & 2021, in IBA wage accord meetings,announced the clarion call Govt is determined to honour Super Sr Citizens & raising herself the question & the problem Pensioners of earlier wage periods suffer heavily & that will be duly rectified soon.She went to the extent of asserting why not we fit them for Same Cadres,same benefit of pension.This thought has to be translated quickly as more than 2 Decades of rot,delay,procrastination, no forward movement took place.She fulfilled her promise of Family Pensioners getting raw deal of very low pension, BUT no earlier date was given ,so they got small arrears only.Bank FP could get from July 2021 .

       Tons & Volumes have been written on PU Pension Upgradation with Every Wage Revision & pre 8/1997 pensioners the worst hit , receiving lowest pension with lowest DR too,for they had to retire at age 58,with low Salary & DA,which DR per slab,on retirement also very low  & Cumulative Losses from 1/1/86 to 31/7/1997 to date is colossal  spanning 30 years & more.One cannot forget the Saga of sacrifice done by Stalwarts of that regime with Devotion & Dedication to espouse  a Cause & initiate all measures to fulfil same with a variety of strategy,plan, preparation  of various Charts & Tables, Eminent Public Relations,so essential for breaking resistance & creating a Meeting ground.That was studiously done, indefatigably followed  & resulted in many meetings with then all 4 Independent Directors,under the able guidance of S/Sri Sunil Sashtri ,late  HCMehta,President,AIRIEF ,lateCSMurty,GS ,late JKKarulkar Mumbai & Myself RBKishore,Several parleys with Directors with Loss of Pension Charts ,& illustrations showed Stark neglect of early pensioners,incurring heavy loss in difference of pension & DR ,8 Steps below Cadres getting more pension than  their Seniors. A marathon meeting of 110 minutes with Sri GNBajpai  on various facets & subsequent fup meetings & Dr KhannaDirector raised the query of Anamolies & Discrimination, BOARD Resolution 492 of 24 Nov 2001 came into being.Also same Weightage as  for Salary rise  given as 11.25%  Pensioners also to be given same increase. As now SC takes upon itself errors of omission & commission of Authorities failing to take right decisions at right time,This Salutary BR consisting of principles of DR merger with Basic Pension, & LIC releasing those Charts unmistakably point out,Initially  at 600CPI then ,again a merger at next 1148,final at that time,1740CPI Merger with such raised New Basic Pension is a testimony for Success of our Negotiations with Chairman,Birth OF BR, NEW breeze of Correct Fitment , the Heart & Kernel of true PUpgradation.

        A progressive organization must aim for equity & harmony & to establish  & preserve integrity of relativity in  pay & pension, which is vitalEQUALITY of interests & no discrimination  should be the ethical  ground & principle.

         Basic criteria  is grant of similar pension for all those with same length of service for the same cadre  & that is violated. 

What pensioners are asking   for  is not even  the tail of the subsidiary benefits,other than BP,DA,HRA,CCA etc like Transport allowance,Fixed Personal Allowance,Cash Medical Benefit etc,granted to employees in wage  settlements  or  

                                                                               the tail of the  Meal Coupon outlay bonanza as an Anniversary gift to employees on 1/9/2010 & progressively being improved.,then outlay Rs250crpa,standing now at Rs650crpa !
