Our TPAs both Vidal and now MD India have a sound system of intimating us by SMS or WA at every stage the
status of our claim being processed. Unfortunately our ZO/ OS/ Mediclaim dept absolutely keeps mum and guessing as to whether they rec'd our claim papers, whether they have sent it to TPA, whether they have rec'd settlement intimation or whether they have credited the amt to our account. We have to keep on enquiring. Why not our Associations insist on our Mediclaim dept to keep us intimated at every stage by SMS about the status of our claim by a regular response system, as done by our TPAs? A suggestion worth considering, I suppose.
