Dear sir,
Greetings from AIBOC!
It has come to our attention that the Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers 2016=100 for February and March 2024 hasn't been published on the Bureau's website yet. As banks currently calculate Dearness Allowance based on the quarterly average of this index, we kindly request the timely disclosure of the index figures for the previous two months.
As per standard practice, the Consumer Index figure for Industrial Workers for the preceding month is typically released or uploaded on the last day of the subsequent month. It's vital to adhere to this established timeline.
On behalf of AIBOC, the largest apex level organization of bank officers and principal negotiator for bank officers' service conditions, representing more than 325,000 Bank Officers, we request your immediate intervention in uploading the index figures for February and March 2024 on the Labour Bureau website.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
(Rupam Roy) General Secretary
