We extend our heartiest greetings to all our members on the occasion of the great Festivals of India, "DURGA PUJA and DIWALI". This year Durga Puja starts on 9th October, the day of Maha Sasthi and ends on 13th October with the immersion of Goddess idols and celebration 0f happy Bijaya Dashami. Another grand festival "Diwali" will also be celebrated on 31st October this month. Both the above festivals are widely Celebrated in India and across many parts of the world, arranged by local Indian communities residing there.
Diwali is the festival of Lights, joy, prosperity, get togetherness with distribution of sweets. People enjoy decorating homes, streets with colorful candles and lights. Now both the above great festivals are not merely a religious event, but celebration combines art, culture, tradition and community spirit.
In this auspicious month we expect that LIC will take necessary steps and measures so that the monthly Pension is credited on the FIRST DAY of the month in our all Pensioners Bank Account.
