The pensioners should insist on calculations sheet to verify calculations. LIC has paid difference in commuted value and recovered total higher amount of difference in instalments for 180 months which has reduced the arrears as they have not paid interest on commuted pension difference.
I have seen that at least in one case they have even calculated revised DR slab wrongly.
There is no guarantee for accuracy of LIC's calculations as it has been done manually and not done through a software program.
There are even recoveries demanded from a number of pensioners.
