Dear All,

I am sharing the SZ all-divisions statement covering Regular Pensioners, Family Pensioners, Child Pensioners, Ex-Gratia, and Ex-Gratia (Spouse)—both division-wise and as a grand total.

Despite continuous efforts, LIC CO has not been providing precise figures. RTI requests take time and only yield macro-level information. However, this SZ statement is a game-changer—each zone can easily generate similar lists, compare current and past years, and formulate strategies for growth.

Proposal for Regular Data Collection

All zones should compile these figures:

1. Half-yearly: April 1 – September 30

2. Annually: April 1 – March 31

This will allow AIRIEF to present an authentic all-India picture year after year. Ensuring CO pensioners' numbers are included in WZ data is crucial for accuracy.

Future Expansion Strategy for AIRIEF & RIEAs

To strengthen AIRIEF and RIEAs, we must standardize SZ's data collection model across all zones. This will:

✔ Provide certainty in data—eliminating vagueness and guesswork

✔ Ensure high enrollment rates (70-80%) in most areas

✔ Enable effective tracking of retirements with full details (Name, Cadre, Office, Date of Retirement, Mobile Number)

✔ Facilitate swift enrollment & welcoming ceremonies (e.g., shawls, felicitation)

With AIRIEF approaching its 30th anniversary on December 5, 2026, it is time to set an example of efficiency.

Pensioner Enrollment Projections

For SZ alone (over 2 years):

Class 1: 446

Class 2, 3, 4: 963

Total: 1,409 (approx. 704 per year per zone)

Scaling this model across all zones will significantly boost AIRIEF's total enrollment beyond 11,000 and drive exponential growth.

Call to Action

Zonal Officials (ZOPIR) must provide lists proactively.

Desk 1 (Class I Officers) & Desk 3 (Class 2, 3, 4) should share data effortlessly.

Each zone should follow SZ's structured method to maintain consistency & speed.
