OUR CASE IN SC TODAY

Case came before the bench. Jus MAHESHWARI was prepared for hearing. Attorney General of India appearing for the Govt sought for adjournment as he was engaged in a Constitutional matter today in the CJI Court and expressed inability to attend the Court today. Our Counsel vehemently opposed for granting adjournment and be permitted to make his submissions today itself and so was J. MAHESHWARI.

Thereafter the two judges had some discussion and adjournment was granted till 17th September 2025 with the case to be listed on top of table.

This is the first time ever that AGI in person attended the court and should give us an inference of govt's pressure, if I can say. LIC'S counsel was silent.

The bench has advised our Sr Counsel to submit a note not exceeding 3 pages on brief of the matter. We are on the way to Sr Counsels office cum residence almost 12 Kms away.

Details of day's proceeding would follow.
