No doubt forming a TU itself in 1950 is a struggle and sacrifice by few workers of 245 private insurers of different cultures and traditions like all TUs existed at that time facing the risk of dismissal and lively hood like freedom workers of India few years back then after the slavery of1200 years. Soviet model adopted by Nehru and idea to implement it given by Deshmukh FM ex Governor of RBI was responsible for the nationalisation of SBI(Imperial bank) and insurers for funds toward five year plans. To one's knowledge Aiiea and Aiibea had not been responsible for it, as whole population of India were demanding nationalisation of all industries small or big perhaps excluding petty shops as freedom workers were enamoured of huge progress of Soviet union since 1917 revolution at enormous cost. But top leaders of Aiiea had followed Maoist ideology hidden from its rank and file however small at that time after the asylum of Dalai Lama and after Stalin's death both in 1953 but revealed in 1964. The minuscule dissidents waited for a decade to bring back freedom of speech in TU and formed AILICEF in 1974 to adhere Leninist ideology like AIBEA.
