Com.Bose founder general secretary of United AIIEA for a decade till Saroj took over and ruled for two decades when financial sector workers were not dare enough to form a TU though ID ACT was passed in 1947 and the dynasty was determined to put them in stagnation wages with no pension for nearly 5 decades stating that no real wage increase will be given till absolute poverty is removed in India which happened only during the past decade perhaps with single digit percentage of it still remains. So no wonder 85% workers of financial sector ie., LIC and PSBs were mobilised under AIIEA and AIBEA running for agitations just to keep their positions were they were till 1990s when PVN RAO introduced economic reforms to change everything in India. Meanwhile AIIEA followed Maoist ideology from 1964 and AIBEA followed Leninist ideology after Chinese Aggression on India with no use for workers. Minuscule TUs like AILICEF and BEFY were formed in LIC and PSBs and fought for pension as 2nd and 3rd benefits. One must salute Bose for his services during the dark period of working class, but got stagnation wages and a 3rd benefit of pension which a pittance till his death. One knows com. Saroj didn't get that pittance of pension as 3rd benefit having received stagnation wages only. Present position is retirees of financial sector are facing discriminations like past Hindu Caste Hierarchy like 80% families of India who are below them now financially.
