GOI wants/wanted to suppress TU rights under ID Act 1947 and keep/ kept pensions less to the staff of LIC as they supported Maoist ideology from the days of Chinese aggression on our Nation in1962. Working class in LIC wanted a revolution sitting an armed chair and made abuses against Leninist ideology followed by AIBEA with which they didn't cooperate on anything affecting working class. In LIC there is a dozen different sections enjoying different benefits like Caste Hierarchy which is increasing every five years. Already 25000 LIC workers died with stagnant wages with no pension and another 25000 died with pittance pension. Existing retirees who were once In-service and those in service betrayed their seniors by not agitating passively for the principle of "Pension is unpaid low wage during service" for decades. They were not even cognisance of snatched rights under section 48 of LIC Act 1981 and no iota of efforts taken restore bi-partite settlements. Even the fact of windfall profit of 10 lakhs crores gifted to GOI by LIC as against other PSUs and PSBs which are in RED had been brought to the notice of Judiciary which accepts the argument of non-viability without going deeply. They not even cited the example of loss making BSNL giving wages and pension like GOI by selling its vast Real Estate all over India to SC which in practice not following so called "Secular Socialism" while endorsing those words inserted to cheat the poorest of poor of the Nation by corrupt politicians.
