Most of us, right through the world, are disturbed and discontented. Being dissatisfied, we want more prosperity, more things, more books, more amusement. But there is a deeper discontent which is not satisfied by external acquisitiveness. We then pursue inward acquisition, the mind demanding complete satisfaction from this endless discontent.
