Extracts from the other blog: It is not a question of vision of union leaders.Their vision is more abundant than that of the powers that be.If upgradation of pension is insisted upon, then the outlay for wage revision will get reduced with another portion of outlay required for upgradation of pension.It is more important for them to obtain maximum wage increase for the next 5 years to satisfy their constituents. Anyhow pensioners are conducting their legal fight for upgradation.If the legal grounds are strong and a favourable judgment is deliv ered by SC, the pension optees in service will also benefited on a platter.So the unions stop with writing a sentence in their letters to the LIC Management urging upon pension upgradation.Presently more than 33% of LIC employees are outside LIC Pension Rules 1995
As a result in the period ahead, the thrust will be more towards wage increases than pension upgradation.Pensioners have to fight for themselves.

I just want to bring home that employee and pensioners are not altogether separate entities, they are complement to one another and according to court the pension we get are
deferred wages, then why both of things can not be revised/ updated simultaneously like govt employees, this must be prayed before the sc else it may be resolved as one time measure by sc.
Unemployment is not a character flaw. A generation battling job scarcity, inflation, and uncertainty deserves dignity, not derogatory labels. Constitutional authorities should uphold empathy and restraint, because words from powerful offices carry enormous weight. Young people asking questions, filing RTIs, speaking online, or criticizing institutions are exercising democratic rights —
not behaving like ‘cockroaches.’ Respect for institutions must be mutual: citizens must respect the judiciary, and the judiciary must respect citizens struggling to survive.
(Cotd) By validating our past actions, is nothing but compromisig for a good wage revision at the cost of pension, it needs some introspection at least, I think.
I see this episode in sc as blessing in disguise ,by saying so ,sc triggered the sleeping sentiments of youth and the manner zen zee are expressing themselves, I am assured that future of the
country is in safe hands otherwise till now I have always seen them as an addict of mobile, laptop, unmindful of all around affairs in the country.
