Under the restructured Income Tax Act, all familiar tax forms have been renumbered. The old Form 16 (TDS certificate for salary) is now Form 130, and the old annual tax statement Form 26AS is now Form 168. [1, 2, 3, 4]

The deadline for employers to issue Form 130 (Form 16) for FY 2025-26 was June 15, 2026, and the general ITR filing deadline is July 31, 2026. [1, 2]

To access your tax statements and download Form 168, follow these steps on the Income Tax e-Filing Portal:

Log in using your PAN and password.
Navigate to the "e-File" menu.
Select "Income Tax Returns" and click on "View Form 26AS".
You will be redirected to the TRACES website, where you can view and download your Form 168.
