Under the restructured Income Tax Act, all familiar tax forms have been renumbered. The old Form 16 (TDS certificate for salary) is now Form 130, and the old annual tax statement Form 26AS is now Form 168. [1, 2, 3, 4]
You can download your new Form 168 (old 26AS) directly from the official portal.
Here is a quick reference for the major income tax form changes:
- Old Form 16 → New Form 130 (TDS on Salary)
- Old Form 26AS → New Form 168 (Annual Tax Statement)
To access your tax statements and download Form 168, follow these steps on the Income Tax e-Filing Portal:
- Log in using your PAN and password.
- Navigate to the "e-File" menu.
- Select "Income Tax Returns" and click on "View Form 26AS".
- You will be redirected to the TRACES website, where you can view and download your Form 168.

@toestub-uk4en 1 hour ago I've worked those rotating 12 hour shifts. They're a killer.

I smell a revolt coming.@wheezysqueezebox7651 33 minutes ago 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. 6 days a week... That's the standard work week, in CCP China... And even a single person can barely make ends meet! It's not surprising that young people don't want to get married and have children! π―mianlo2624 As scary as robots replacing humans. How do we know these robots don't have the same quality as their tofu construction? @madbug1965

During The Great Depression, in the USA, thousands of flyers lured farmers to California, promising good paying jobs, picking fruit. Same scam. Wages weren't that high, but many people needed the work! π―

That's life until you retire, if you can. I could and 13 years later, I wish I was still working. The mind is willing, but My body says, When PIGGS FLY!

Seriously China is a hyper capitalist corporate dystopia - their companies should adopt that slogan “Work will set you free”

It is such an irony, having all these workers being abused in the same way the communists use to describe capitalism. Delicious irony...

China only produces low-quality goods, that need to be replaced and produced again and again.
Planned obsolecence and poor quality is not a suistainable business model. People are willing to pay more for goods, if the quality matches.
