RTI information on Pension Pay-out to LIC Pensioners in FY 2024-25 & 2025-26

Please find attached  a reply to my First Appeal under RTI dated 4/9/2026 furnishing the figures of actual pension pay out to the LIC Pensiones in 2024-5 and 2025-26.

The figures are as follows:

It will be observed from the letter that the First Appellate Authority  has laboured hard to explain why the information was exempted under Section 8(1)(h) of the RTI Act 2005.He tries to  defend that the information of pay-out from the Pension Fund is available in the Annual Report skirting the fact that I specifically requested for the information of annuities paid to pensioners by P & GS  dept.Anyhow now the information has been provided after much delay. Otherwise, I was planning to file a second appeal to CIC.
