Quarterfinal schedule, fixture, road to quarters


With Pakistan beating Ireland comfortably on Sunday, the league stage of the World Cup 2015 edition has came to an end.
The quarterfinals stage of the tournament will begin from March 18. Three days of rest have been allocated in order to give all the teams sufficient time to travel to their quarterfinal venues and prepare for the games.
Here is a complete guide to the World Cup quarterfinals which includes the schedule, venues, match timings, road to finals and head-to-head performances since the last World Cup of the teams involved.
Quarterfinal 1

Venue | Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)
South Africa and Sri Lanka have never played at the Sydney Cricket Ground before. The last time these two teams played in Australia was during the 2006 VB series but the SCG was not the venue in any of those matches.
