Re: Outcome of chandigarh high court contempt case today

Dear All,

Ms. Alka our advocate could not attend high court today and with her prior consent, Sh.Murty argued for our case.
Sh Murty told High Court judge hearing our case that LIC has not filed any affidavit as ordered by him during

last hearing dated 21st May ,2015 whereas youngest petitioner in this case is 76 years old
Justice Rakesh Kumar Jain agreed with Sh.Murty and told LIC counsel that how long he can ask petitioners to wait in this contempt case pending since 2013.
He directed LIC to file  immediately affidavit in response to our claim for actual amount payable being Rs 4.70 crores without interest against Rs33 lacs deposited by LIC and matter is posted for 28th July, 2015 for next hearing
So big victory today due to great efforts by Sh.Murty
Regards
