In case of Mr M C Jain ,LIC had paid
him only an amount of Rs 12242/- as against more that Rs 2lks that he was
entitled to in terms of the judgment of Jaipur Bench dt 13/9/2012. LIC is still
dragging its feet in regard to paying the right amount and also to all
similarly placed 90 retirees or so.
Legal principles are clear, but the
route to enforce those principles -like the path of true love-never does run
smooth as has been experienced by similarly placed pensioners of LIC.
