Subject: PAYMENT OF 40% IN MACHILIPATNAM DIVISION

Shri Krishna swami ji,

The payment due to the pensioners’ of Machilipatnam were credited to their respective accounts

to day morning itself.

The details are given by Shri K S S Sastry the vice president of our organization. Firstly, We have

to make a mention that our members have extended all possible help to the concerned, in the OS

department.  In turn the OS Department have also extended  the co-operation to us.

The statistics are as follows:

The list received from the Zonal Office (SCZO) is     259.

Payments made                                                        109

Balance is                                                                 150

Out of 150, nearly for 70, the amount payable is less than Rs. 5/ and 10/-; the OS Department

is taking necessary steps to clear before 14th . The Zonal office vide its circular informed that

they will inform what action has to be taken where the spouse also expired in respect of family

pensioners. The OS Dept has called for files where it is absolutely necessary.

Out of the paid list the details are as follows:

Arrears received more than 1 lakh is only one.

Above 50K  and less than 1lakh                        27;

Above 25k less than 50                                    20;

Less than 25k and above 10k                           14;

Less than 10k                                                   48;

We will be failing in my duty if I do not convey the feeling of our members. 1. The amount paid

to them is not as per the calculations made by them. We know pretty well the L I C did as it did

earlier; 2. The class 1 has received substantially more than class 3 and four; 3. Even the class 1

complained similarly that they were paid less than their calculations; 4. The pensioners of 92 – 93 could not get the restoration of their increment in Class 1.

We have just given the feelings expressed with our organization.

With greetings,

L S R KRISHNA RAO. a
