Soliloquy
Dear All LIC Pensioners Friends,
Matters concerning our cases at Delhi High Court cause great anxiety among LIC pensioners. Certain articles that appear in webs give rise to unnecessary disturbance in the strong belief of our members that our legal fight will ultimately end with floral tributes. Let me put down some of the issues discussed in the web columns by eminent activists amongst us.
1. Section 48 of LIC Act
2. Sections 51 & 56
3. Articles 14, 16, 21
4. D.S.Nakkara Case
5. Pension Fund criteria
6. Interim Relief 40%
7. Multiplicity of petitioners with a sole motto, but under diversified
approaches
8. Episodes of accusations and counters by the standby supporters
9. Clarion calls for unity from different corners
10. Etc., etc.
We do not know whether all our pensioner brethren are aware of all the above developments. Their great expectation is when they will catch the bulky bag and how much. But, the above show has sown panic in the minds of a few hundred activists in the entire arena of Kuruchetra. The sudden and ever changing strategies of the case managers, to the bewilderment of their close associates connected with ongoing case matters, irk the hopes of leaders in charge of Organisation. Yes, every one, however big he is, must follow the decision taken collectively.
We all admit that we could secure unimaginable victories in the past era as along as we were united under a singular avowed program. For the curse of it, with some other intentions and ulterior motives, we have come too far from that proven path and embraced upon time consuming procedures. Let every one think that none should be blamed or charged for spoiling the broth at the cost of the beliefs of innocent souls of the present and the departed.
Ever-so-many dignitaries have already analysed and contributed their mite to be handled by our advocates team to combat the unreasonable and unrealistic arguments of our twin-opponents during the hearing on 29th instant. Our immediate goal is winning the noble hearts of the judges with concrete legal background and securing the desired favourable results. Let us think about Unity at an appropriate date later. For the time being, it is wise, to be calm and businesslike.
LET THE GRACE OF ALMIGHTY BE WITH US ALL !
Hopeful Soul,
M.P.Subrahmanian,
Madurai.
( This is not written with any malafide intention to hurt any body in particular. I have only expressed my personal feelings ).
