Dear Mr Sahni,
I found a prominent Post this evening in your Blog authored by Sri M P Subrahmanian, speaking for AIRIEF. He was clever enough not to refer to my name even once but every reader of your Blog and every active Pensioner who reads the Post would know that the entire write up is aimed against me personally.
I wouldn't have liked to spend time now for responding to this mean diatribe which in fact is nothing new to me, when I am busy without break, preparing for the arguments on Monday. My appointment for the conference with Sri Nidhesh Gupta and our Counsel Team has been moved to Sunday at 11.00 AM from this morning due to the adjournment of the cases. Sri Mahadevan and I have heavy home work to complete to provide additional material to the Sr Counsel in two or three areas where we want to completely neutralize LIC's untenable claims as well as some reservations even from the Bench. In fact I received a specific text message from Mr Gupta yesterday morning to 'work some more' on a critical 'topic' before I attend the Conference. If any well-informed representative of the AIRIEF attending the hearing on Monday in DHC approaches me with a request to know about it, I can show him the message on my Mobile and the output I will be carrying in response.
I still thought I should not let this go but reach your readers right away albeit very briefly for now. Mr MPS and his colleagues will certainly have their ear- full from me after the Judgement is reserved, with incontrovertible facts, extracts from old records, e-mails and what not and they all have to run for cover and gasp for breath in the process if they have any respect for truth. I know I should not perhaps expect too much.
I will resume my more important work now with these questions:
Is it true or not true that KML (truly the original architect of the Legal battle) is dumped unceremoniously by the AIRIEF? Having consigned him in to near oblivion, why are you using his name still? Is he being represented in the DHC at all? And why not?
Do you really not approve of my role in the on-going litigation to be of any use to the Pensioners' cause, or are you scared that at the end of the day, your Organization's hollowness in delivering and securing justice will get exposed? Barring Mr Agnihotri, (he and I have no problem with each other personally or on issues) tell me one name in your BIG Organization who contributed to the case (other than Fund raising)?
Talking of KML being the (true) Pitaamaha for the litigation, you had no problem when GNS recently claimed that his Federation should get the credit for keeping the litigation alive in the DHC. Left to myself, I would have asked him, 'is it alive today because of you or in spite of you'?
On the other wild charges against me, I know you are already aware of my answers to each of them, through my several write-ups in the public domain. You just pretend to be not knowing or you think that the pensioner' memory is short. Or may be both. Read my last 'untold story' again and once again and tell me where, if at all, you can fault me just once. Be honest to admit, if you fail.
Please be warned that you cannot shake my determination or change my way of fighting for the cause. For me, nothing matters - Pensioners should win. I am working for it and whoever contributes, I salute. Whoever denigrates me baselessly, I sympathise and I excuse. You are also excused.
GOD BLESS LIC PENSIONERS
