Let me first feel sorry for differing with views expressed by a
highly learned personality like Sh. G.Krishna Prasad in his post
uploaded today on your blog.
I am reminded of a very famous quote that Victory has many fathers whereas defeat has none.
Linking
negative DHC Verdict with clubbing of two major demands of LIC
Pensioners like Full D.A Neutralisation for Pre 01.08.1997 Retirees and
Pension Updation for All is a baseless logic. Saying that GNS was not
in favor of this linkage basically goes against GNS only
Demand for DA Parity for pre 01.08.1997 retirees with those retiring
post 01.08.1997 is highly justified and no one can oppose it.
But will any body tell us what is the percentage of post 01.08.1997
retirees amongst total LIC Pensioners . By all means it must be above 75
%.
How GNS or any other leader can justify ignoring interest of 75 %
members in any Pensioners Organisation. I am eager to know views of
leaders with a school of thought that linkage of two demands is not
correct.
