Appeal for legal fund contribution

To all honourable members Panchkula Unit

A specially convened general body meeting of Panchkula Unit held today 16th July Sunday at Senior Citizens Council sector 15 Panchkula was attended by 21 members

A condolence resolution for paying tributes to late Sh Sreenivasa Murty who left all of us for his heavenly abode on July 8 last  was passed by the house.

Two minutes silence was observed with prayers to Almighty God for granting peace to departed noble soul .

SLP against DHC Verdict Dated 27th April has to be filed at Supreme court latest before July 27 by Hyderabad Association as well as by Panchkula Unit on behalf of 23 surviving petitioners out of total 31 at Chandigarh High Court.

A senior counsel has to be engaged for final approval of SLPs  as well as getting said  SLPs as well as admission by Supreme court bench.

We know our senior pensioners who are 80 plus today are getting meagre pension and no arrears have been paid to them

But since legal battle as explained above is very costly so lot of funds are needed by Panchkula Unit as well as Hyderabad Association

We are thankful to all of you for your liberal donations last year in 2016 as a result of which we could remit Rs Two lacs to legal fund of Hyderabad Association

Likewise Jalandhar retired LIC Class One officers also sent Rs 2.5 lacs to Hyderabad Association last year.

A fresh appeal was issued in General body meeting held today to all honourable members  that each member of Panchkula Unit must come forward once again to contribute minimum Rs five thousand per member towards our legal fund

Those who want to donate more than Rs five thousand are always welcome

Please deposit your legal fund donations with our Finance Secretary Sh Kishore Sharma at his residence 188 /9 Panchkula

Our next bimonthly 2nd Sunday Meeting is fixed for 13th August

Those who can't visit our Finance Secretary residence must bring their cheque for legal fund contribution in next meeting on 13th August

Our executive committee team members will be requested to visit residences of all Members after 13th August for collection of legal fund contribution as per appeal issued in General body meeting today.
