MISFIRED COMMITTEE
A newspaper report on pensioners’ issue and resultant furore– views of AIBPARC on the subject.
Our attention has been drawn to the aforesaid news item wherein an impression has been created as if the undersigned in the capacity of Acting General Secre
tary gave an interview to the correspondent. Fact remains that he did not have any dialogue with any reporter on the subject nor did he issue any press release
nor he addressed any press conference on the much talked subject. This fact has been brought officially to the notice of the reporter concerned.
Members are aware that AIBPARC reproduced a circular of CBPRO dated 3rdAugust, 2017 as it was its duty to do so as a component of the Coordination. Some of the observation/information/opinion made in CBPRO’s circular has been put to the lips of the Acting General Secretary as if he had told such things as reported. Hence, the need of clarification arose.

Re: NA.I
Now coming to the question of percolation of certain information through CBPRO’s circular, AIBPARC
strongly feels that CBPRO is a Coordination of crednce, competence and capability. The leaders who are at
the helm of affairs are persons of proven leadership quality for decades. They have been tirelessly working
for serving the interest of bank pensioners and retirees. Their meetings with Hon’ble Ministers, political
personalities, bureaucracy and IBA are truthfully reported. There is no ground for us to believe that they had
any intension to misrepresent certain facts. AIBPARC will always have the pleasure to keep the memberhip
apprised of latest developments on various issues of pensioners through and by reproduction of CBPRO’s
circulars in future too.
With best wishes,
