High Court Supreme Court? - IN REM?

Dear Mr Sahni,

     Para 2 of this letter starts off with : "....pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble High Court in M. C. Jain case...." and makes reference again to the High Court and a portion of the concluding paragraph has : "....decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in LIC Vs M.C.Jain [SLP (C) CC 8090/2014]...."

     which is the court concerned, please - High (BOMBAY?) or Supreme?

     The legal opinion obtained by LIC is to the effect that what is applicable to M.C.Jain (alone) cannot be made applicable to others similarly placed.

     How about Mr K. D. Arya telling LIC that the legal opinion obtained by HIM is to the effect that what is applicable to M. C. Jain is applicable to all those others similarly placed, please? (in rem?).
