DOUBLE TONGUE TALK BY GOI

                                     I have seen the post  of Sri BR Mehta ji .  Why  GOI  objects that there  is no  

             mention of  Upgradation  in LIC Pension Rules  .  To my small  brain  the  GOI   can do and undo 

             things.  If SC  speaks against  GOI   an amendment  is  approved in Parliament   with racket speed

             If Parliament is not in session by an amendment 

                                   

             Coming to wage revision , GOI appoints   a Pay Commissions . The     recommendatons  of  the   

            Pay Commissions  are approved by  Cabinet  and  implemented  . But  we the LIC  pensioners 

            and employees   are  given  roughest treatment .   No agreements  signed with  Inservice  

            Employees assns.  unlike in Banks .  

            Pension Rle No 56    is  an ornamental  provision inserted  in our Pension Rules .  Till  now  

            serious   meaningful   discussion   has not taken place . Our  case  changed several  Benches 

            Our counsels are not taken  seriously .   

            Full fledged   dialogue   did not  so far take place with  Pensioners . Inservice  empm  Assns  

            show lip sympathy in their  Charters .
