My Rich Tribute to Late Sardar Ajit Singh ji

I  am  shocked to read sad news of  demise of Sardar Ajit Singh ji.  Way back in 1987 upon being selected as AAO under 15th batch , I was allocated DO Jalandhar ( Amritsar DO Area was also under then  DO  Jalandhar  ) . After my first posting at Abohar , I was shifted to newly opened Branch Fazilka carved out of Abohar Area where  Sardar Ajit Singh ji was visiting my Fazilka Branch regularly  as our MM.

      So lot of my sweet memories are connected with him since he appreciated my work as AAO and  even offered me job rotation which I politely declined since I was more interested in  posting to my home town Bathinda ( under DO Chandigarh then )  . And I exactly remember that in the year 1992 ,I had a very nice meeting with him in his chamber when he was SDM Incharge DO Amritsar and I was posted as BM Incharge Samana Branch ( DO Chandigarh ) in connection with transfer of  an Assistant very   close to me working in a branch under his Division. He was kind enough to accede to my request instantly. 

   To me personally , he was very  nice and helpful .As such, I remember him today with lot of respects from the core of my heart and pray to Almighty God to bless eternal peace to departed noble soul.
