Today's hearing in Supreme Court

LIC has been given 6 week's time for complying on minimum pension .Date of next hearing not announced.
Chandigarh counsel pointed out that the calculations were made from from 29/1/2007 instead of 18/12/1998.
Mr K T S Tulsi told the Bench that 16000 pensioners have died.Mr Hansaria said LIC was given 9 months to get the data and one year for payment and LIC had taken a year and a half and still want extended time.But still the Bench gave six weeks' time for LIC to  comply. the hearing lasted hardly five minutes.
