Dear Shri Singh Sahab,
In the meeting of AIRIEF Executive Committee held at Trichy on 7-8th Nov 2019, the members expressed their concern on inordinate delay in listing of our cases. As per daily order dated 18.11.2018, Hon'ble bench instructed to list the case on a non-miscellaneous day in second week of Feb 2019 for final disposal at admission stage. But almost after 10 months, neither the cases are listed nor even the bench is constituted to hear our cases.
The members appreciate the procedural impediments; but beneficiaries being senior and super senior citizens and 4-5 pensioners dying every day, they have feelings of anxiety and apprehension. So, it was proposed that following steps be taken to expedite the matter:
Contact Shri R K Singh and request for arranging a meeting with the Sr Advocate during second fortnight of Nov 2019 preferably during 17.11.2019 to 23.11.2019,
To brief our case and development taken place so far to the Sr Advocate and request him to be fully prepared for the arguments as the case is to be disposed of at admission stage.
To obtain his opinion for constitution of bench and listing of our cases at the earliest possible, preferably before the winter vacation (before 14th Dec 2019). If necessary a mention before appropriate judge/bench be made by the Sr Advocate.
To consult with the Sr Advocate as to how to overcome other hurdles like probable IAs/pending compliances by other petitioners.
To obtain confirmation of dates for meeting with the Sr Advocate from Shri R K Singh.
We, therefore request you to kindly co-ordinate and favour us with the plan of meeting with the Sr Advocate, as desired above.
