Once again, LIC pensioners have been deprived of pension credit on the 1st of the month. But our pensioners of Southern Zonal office are lucky to have their pension credited to their respective bank accounts. We are aware that from 16th December'19, NEFT has been made operative from 24x7.
In this connection a news item is reproduced below.
"Transfer money via NEFT 24x7 from Dec 16; from Jan 1 it will be free of cost. Here's all you need to know
NEFT allows individuals, firms,corporates to transfer money from one bank branch account to another one anywhere in the country. Earlier, this facility could be availed only on working days between 8:00 Am and 7:00 PM.

It is very difficult to understand why all other pension paying offices of LIC can not do what Southern Zonal Office can do. Hope this matter will be taken up with the concerned authorities within or outside LIC to set the anomaly right..
