Dear Sir ,
Re : Credit of Pension on 1st even if it is Sunday / Holiday
We understand that our Central Office has modified Pension Payment Module in such a way that Pension Voucher can be generated on last working day of month in case 1st happens to be Sunday/ Holiday
Further RBI has now made NEFT operational 24 ×7
So under the given situation OS Deptt could arrange credit of Pension for February 2020 today 1st March 2020 being Sunday
As per our information following four Divisions have already credited Pension for February 2020 to their respective Pensioners today 1st March despite being Sunday
1.Ahemedabad 2.Thanjavur. 3.Coimbatore 4.Bangaluru
We fail to understand that why OS Deptt DO Chandigarh could not do so ?
As such , we request your goodself to intervene in this matter sothat DO Chandigarh Pensioners also can get their Pension Credit on 1st even if it happens to be Sunday / Holiday
