*Reporting of Discussion held with Exe. Director (P)*

💫🌟  *Reporting of Discussion held with Exe. Director (P)*

Today, ie. on 16th Dec 2021, NOIP delegation led by undersigned, accompanied by *S/Sh. Anil Patkey, VP & Dilip Mapara, Secy. (NOIP)* met *Sh. Rajesh Dubeyji, Exe. Director (P)* at 12 noon and had discussion on our pending issues in a very cordial atmosphere for more than 45 minutes. *Ms. Pratibha Singh, Chief (P), S/Sh. Nitin Kumar, Secy. (ER-A), Sanjay Gupta, Asst. Secy. (ER-A)* were also present.

✡️ *The following points were discussed :*

▶️ *A-Pension related issues :*

*1) Revision of Basic Pension with every wage revision.*
We insisted on this demand. ED (P) replied that there will be high rise in cost & hence it is very difficult to accept this demand.

*Now, the matter will have to be again followed up with DFS.*

*2) Increase in Family Pension.*
ED (P) replied that the matter is referred to DFS & Notification from GOVT is expected very soon.
*3) 50 % of last 10 months' average or 50 % of last Basic Pay drawn for computing pension amount.*
ED (P) replied that though We agree to this, there is hitch from Govt because all these provisions will have to be made applicable to overall financial sector.
*4) Enhanced pension to 80+ super Seniors.*
Management seemed reluctant on this demand.
*5) OMOP to left over ex-servicemen & Direct Recruit SEs.*
The matter is already referred to DFS & approval is expected soon.
*6) Full pension for service of 20 years or more.* &
*7) OMOP to resigned employees of less than 55 years of age.*
For 6 & 7, Management is not in favour of these demands.
*8) Double the Family pension or 50% of last pay as family pension up to age 67 or for 7 years whichever is  earlier.*
ED (P) seemed to be positive on this point.

▶️ *B-Mediclaim related issues.*

*1) One more option to join mediclaim scheme for Self & parents, Parents-in-law, Option to resignees on health grounds, Option to independent Children after marriage & include their spouses too.*
Their reply was that due to recent high rise in claims, there will be heavy rise in premium. Hence, at present, it is not possible to consider these demands.
*2) Increase in compulsory minimum Sum Insured under each category.* Management is studying on this & it may be considered soon.
*3) Option to family pensioner to reduce the Sum Insured at their will.*
Their reply was, though this option _at will,_  is not acceptable, there is already a provision to reduce the Sum Insured vide  Sr. 9 in CO Circular No : CO/Per/ER-A/066/2914 dt. 28th April, 2014.
*4) Cash medical benefit to the retirees.*
Management seemed to be favourable.

▶️ *C-Group Insurance Scheme.*

*1) GIS to all retirees.*
Their reply was, the point is already discussed with P&GS & as there will be steep rise in premium, the demand is not acceptable.
*2) GIS to VRS optees irrespective of Dt of Retirement.*
Management is not inclined to offer GIS to VRS optees. However, On our insistance, they may consider for those VRS optees who submitted their application before 1st Dec 2019 & retired after that date.

▶️ *D-Training period to be counted for calculation of pension & gratuity.*
On our pointing out that some Divisions do not follow correctly the provisions.
ED (P) agreed to issue clear cut instructions once again.

▶️ *E-Tax free PL encashment on retirement.*
Their reply was, We should take up this matter with CBDT.

▶️ *F-Pension Calculation/Sanction to be decentralised to Divisions.*
ED (P) was positive on this demand.

Inspite of the discussions held as above, NOIP will continue to follow our demands at appropriate level till their logical end.
