Regarding Minimum Family pension revision, we have already written a letter to LIC Chairperson from Hyderabad Association.
As regards the case of a family pensioner at minimum FP of 2330 mentioned in your draft, it is a case in Raichur DO .The ZO had calculated the revised pension as 2483 by mistake without taking into account the revised Basic Pay w e f 1/8/2002.I have taken up the matter with SC ZO and SDM Raichur.The correct basic family pension will be 3771.I am sure ZO will rectify the mistake.
But the problem has arisen due to mistakes in the software programme and consequent manual calculations undertaken.Eventually LIC will rectify the mistake.But meanwhile there is a likelihood of excess payments and short payments for October 2023.
Let us wait and see and bring mistakes to the notice of LIC.
