The e-cards prepared by the TPA are already uploaded in the intranet of
LIC.
Pensioners have been advised to obtain the same from the OS departments of the Pension disbursement offices.
One card is being issued for each beneficiary. But we have to remember that the cards are just an identity card to prove that we are covered by the LIC's Group Mediclaim Scheme and it does not entitle us to claim Cashless Hospitalisation benefits beyond the contingencies covered by the Group Mediclaim Policy provisions.
LIC is yet to take a decision on extending Cashless Hospitalisation for all contingencies.
