Organisational Strategy — looking ahead for AIRIEF destiny to soar high in the
years to come, during 9th GC at Bengaluru, the
thought came, after some reflection and rumination, that such a Pensioners
Federation of all classes of pensioners must duly have their own Mouthpiece
to voice the news of, by and for the pensioners. That thought crystallized fast
and the passage of few days or weeks a little over a month, saw hectic
preparations, ideas, design, contents, layout, folios, methodology which all
can come only with the help of a person, able, competent, possessing expertise,
the will to work, responsive, able to air creative ideas to
present what is christened asairiefvision.wordpress.com as
an exclusive Website of ours. Such a noble, humble individual who took upon his
shoulders this heavy responsibility right from start is Sri K. Ramanan, RM
(Retd), LIC settled at Coimbatore. If it was said of Dr Johnson that, there was
nothing which he did not touch, which he did not adorn, I can
say authoritatively, that this applies to Sri Ramanan, who has
adorned the web pages with distinction.
AIRIEF
website, compared to a blog, has to be responsible and accountable to its
policies and programmes and so one has to adhere to certain principles, reading
and filtering the contents received from many quarters. Modern day management
of Associations and Federations consider website a mouthpiece and hallmark
to represent the welfare and progress of their customers & so management of
such a website demands extra ounce of energy, imbued with the motto of the
institution and vowing to spread the message fastest to the vast body of

AIRIEF, as a torch-bearer of pensioners welfare and progress, with its
myriad achievements and accolades launches itself into a higher pedestal and
realm of activity with the Sankalpa of being a Friend, Philosopher &
Guide to Pensioners’ fraternity. Visit this website, read, enjoy, assimilate,

time with great dexterity and skill and in weaving this wondrous website, which
proud AIRIEFians shall continue to expand and nurture with a missionary zeal.

1. Our gratitude & hearty thanx to RIEA Chattisgarh Raipur
Assn for the wonderful arrangements, hospitality shown to all of us. It was par
excellence. Even in other stations in India, such hotel comfort, quality &
brotherhood may not be there. Compact crucial policymakers, OBs assembled &
discusses the Agenda in detail.
2. We are sure the speeches on that 1st day by veterans who
steered the mighty AIRIEF for so long, along with the earlier predecessor
Leaders, my humble speech, the sweet words of welcome by Sri V Sundaresan,
Raipur, the solid, silent worker Sri Arun Kant Shukla, AIOS, other volunteers
of Raipur & OBs will be etched in our memory. President Sri Saxenas
stirring appeal to work hard with many hard clear data now available.
undertaking tours to inner, contiguous areas to spread AIRIEF throughout the
length & breadth of the country is timely. His concern to increase the
numbers & strength along with more number of RIEAs in all places, to gather
momentum ,the Action Plan chalked out on 2nd AIRIEF OBs day, where everyone
participated ,the call of Sri VC Jain, the speech of former President Sri SK
Shukla who governed for 8 years, must be ringing in our memory. Sure as past
masters in this art & as Veterans of standing, they will guide RIEAs,
motivate them & also participate in this VOYAGE from 18th to 20th Year to a
glowing destination filled with more & more ACHIEVEMENTS & ACCOLADES.
3. I also state &
submit with pleasure the hard work & burning midnight oil lamp,
by Myself, Sri Angurajan to help & assist the Brain behind the
PRESTIGIOUS AIRIEF WEBSITE, responsible & accountable, titled airiefvision.wordpress.com which NAME must be on the lips of EVERY
OBs, EC Members & all Functionaries of RIEA, the general RIEA Members will
benefit a lot with its mammoth CONTENTS, entered in our website, MOUTHPIECE for
quickest contacts, spread of quality, correct info, no place for dingdong,
wrong exchanges but to cultivate the Objectives of AIRIEF as laid out in our
Constitution, which also appears on the website along with many many ORIGINAL
Documents ,so hard to trace in our Archives earlier, but now so easy to open,
click, read, jot any important info required & act upon.
4. I am glad to place on record that our GS Sri N Narayana
inaugurated the Website with a Click, after I read out My Message which also
adorns the website.
PLEASE MAKE IT A POINT TO BROWSE THIS GENUINE, LEGITIMATE, PUCCA organ of
communication, read, absorb, assimilate, inform ALL of this, avail the TREASURE
HOUSE it contains to BENEFICIAL purposes, state your Comments & Feedback in
respective Columns. Even at NASCENT stage, after 45 days of gruelling work
& exchange of articles widespread assorted. more to come, in this short
span, we genuinely have laboured with a SPIRIT OF LOVE & SACRIFICE for the

Eastern News, many many back issues we put, expressing our eternal gratitude to
Sri Basudeb Das, AK Goswami, SK Majumdar, 2 years Varistha Vaani ONLINE
inserted, now Editor Smt Subbalakshmi also motivated.
Madurai with the help of S/Sri Angurajan, RS Subramaniam, MP Subrahmaniam will
steer the airiefvision further to greater heights with my continuous help
& advice & of Sri Ramanan.
We know the throbs we had at Raipur, though we spoke earlier to Raipur,
did some interventions at lunchtime, youngsters tried & tried, brought
another laptop compatible, but yet it was ONLY the innate desire & most
helpful attitude of Sri S.N.K. Rao popularly known as Nandu which brought peace
to us, as white screen projection & focus was seen with glimmer &
glitter on the faces of everyone.

.The heralding of AIRIEF Website is a decisive step forward in our Vision &
Mission Statement.
6)We have no regard for Information Audit & institutionalizing Data
collection.This,from now on, should become a Mantra. This only enables suitable
evolution of Strategy. Even if we become Data
Rich, we cannot degenerate to Action Poor.One leads to the other.
Problem is many don’t
share the burden of responsibility, even after needed backup data with details
given.Singlehanded when one does, it is rewarding organisationally but growth
will be stunted,unless many participate in large numbers. This announcement itself that unique website is created makes for
positive climate that here is a
Federation which cares, they do the job, they are sincere—that
feeling if we can ignite will get Membership.

website enhances Knowledge, &Skills Upgradation . We circulate many Charts,
Tables, Comparative analysis amongst LIC, Banks, RBI, Govt.Those should be
digested.Some only go thro,others do not even read, they have no time to think of great labour, time spent,
typing, correcting etc of the Activist. Many may not know CPI IW, DRSlab
derivation, DR Per slab for various cadres, various Groups, know not, CPI at
1/8/92,1/8/97, 1/8/2002,1/8/2007, 1/8/2012.These should be on our fingertips.Those
who did not see or know properly get now
