1)Yesterday,I had a talk with RMOS ,SZO on some pending matters of
pensioners & mainly requesting him to expedite with CO all modalities of
new Cashless Service covering all illnesses
& diseases for Employees & Pensioners.
RM informed me that CO
team was here & they are serious of concluding all formalities with
TPA who will really bear the brunt as also shoulder properly, without hassles,
implementation of the new Cashless service .When I asked about including
Optional SA in ecard of TPA ,RM said it is not so, they don’t want, any cost or
fee ,for knowing OSA , hospitals to hike rates etc.But procedures are finalized
& have to bear fruit sooner.CO will issue circular after full assessment of
all TPAs ,All India as announced in CO Cicular dt 31/3/2015
2)Today I whetted the
above with further talks with SZO Mediclaim AO,The following useful points
emerged,indicating some forward movement .We can be alert & pursue further
as it seems the ball is set rolling & desire of LIC & TPA to really make cashless
service implemented at the earliest in a
fruitful manner
i)TPA has visited some SZ LIC Divisions & the rest also,
they will do sooner ,discussing modalities with SDM etc
ii)Format of card may be same,No SA will be shown,to avoid
tendency of hike in rates/cost etc. No photo will be there in the card
iii)Id Card of LIC with Photo will have to be shown
compulsorily
iv)LIC supplies all data including OSA opted, to TPA for updation
in their Records,which shall be the most important & crucial factor for
employees,dependants, pensioners etc so that later there should not be
difficulty for anybody ,once the process is completed foolproof.It seems TPA
adopts this practice for others too & for LIC also same procedure
v)LIC CO Circular shall be issued with all details,List of
Hospitals for cashless service,premium rates,Policy conditions & benefits
for 2015-16,procedures etc
vi)All of us must better keep ready,LIC Pension Cell disbursing office Letter ,after
receiving our Family Particulars Form, showing OSA covered & persons
insured,apart from LIC Id card with Photo
