Sri Chanchal Chakrabarty and myself made query in LIC Pensioners' CHRONICLE and Sri RK Sahni's blog in the matter of Sum Insured limit under cashless.The query was raised after it was learnt that one LIC official in one metro division in Kolkata metro intimated one insured that cashless was limited to basic sum insured only and not up to optional increased sum.
Sri RB Kishore contacted CO immediately and he has been informed of the limit as one insured's Sum.
Sri Rk sahni, also, contacted the TPA for Northern Zone in the matter. The concerned TPA has confirmed that one individual's opted sum is the limit.
