1)This
has reference to ur query about ongoing wage talks in LIC with
EmployeesAssns & LIC Mgt, & LIC Unions not accepting offer of
7.75% Special Allowance offerred to employees
2)I
spoke to EDP a little while ago.He told me that Unions are not
accepting this offer.He added that Bank agreement has this useful
provision, Even when I said it counts for DA benefit but not for retirement benefits,he said all are aware of this.
SAllowance is a significant sum, plus he said it contributes as much as 11 % of total benefits to employees.
3)I
then fup other outstanding issues like Ecard,many TPAs still
behind,data of pensioners RP,FP,Exgratia numbers ,in spite of reminders,
not being received by us,sooner implement atleat 4 monthly deductions
for mediclaim premium from pension ,so that a fair amount of net pension
will be available, as already employees every month deduction takes
place,CO must make all out efforts to ensure universal Cashless facility
becomes a reality without any hassles for employees & pensioners
4)I
finally touched upon honouring Hon SC Bench 7th May 2015
order,whereupon, EDP said they are paying to Jaipur & Chandigarh
petitioners,& for Delhi HC ,as per legal opinion ,they are referring
to Hon Supreme Court for clarification
