Chitraguptan's Problem

One day Chitraguptan told Bramhadevan that he should stop this scheme of ladies observing Varalakshmi vratam getting the same husband for the next 7 births. Brahmadevan asked : "Why?" Chitraguptan: "Sir, it's becoming difficult to manage. The wife wants the same husband but the husband wants a new wife. It's a problem to convince both." Brahmadevan: "But this can't be stopped.I t's been going on for times immemorial." Just then Naradan came and he suggested: "There is a great person called Chanakyan on earth. Ask him for a solution." (Chitraguptan meets Chanakyan) Chanakyan solves the problem in a split second. He advised Chitraguptan: "Tell any wife who wants the same husband that she will also get the same MOTHER IN LAW for the next 7 births." All the women screamed in unison "Oh, God, noo!!!"
