Dear Mr Sahni,

Reproduced below is a email received by me on the Order pronounced by DHC on 11 Nov 2016. This throws some light pending the Order to be uploaded by DHC registry.

'Dear Mr. Murty,
The captioned matter was listed 11.11.2016  before the Divison Bench of the Delhi High Court for pronouncement of Order  on the issue of interim relief.

The Court has passed an order in favour of LIC on the ground that Para 3A of the Appendix deals with only dearness relief. It does not deal with basic pension. Further, the Supreme Court order does not speak about the issue regarding the basic pension to be enhanced and increased upto 40%. Therefore,  the  direction with respect to payment of 40% has been duly complied with by the LIC of India.

Order is still awaited
