The post by Shri C H Mahadevan and the enclosed report of analysis about the current situation by Shri MSM are quite revealing as to the ground realities on the one hand and on the other urging for a realistic and pragmatic approach by all concerned parties facing the DHC on the 4th of Jan next. My grateful thanks to the Hyd Assn leaders for the yeoman service it has been doing towards the pensioners' community even amidst several constraints. It is my humble appeal to all the Authorised Representatives of all the contesting Petitioners representing the LIC pensioners to respond positively to Shri MSM's request and exhibit their individual readiness to present and display collective strength and voice before the DHC on 4 Jan 2017, all the petitioners in one voice must oppose any move from any quarter towards extn. of time. I think I will not be mistaken if I say that the fate of the pensioners on achieving the twin benefits lay more in the hands of the Authorised Representatives of the petitioners themselves than in those of the Court.
